By placing an order for wine, you warrant that you are 21 years of age or older and that your order will be received by someone 21 years of age or older. Adult signatures are required for all deliveries.
Manhattan & Brooklyn
We make deliveries into the city every other week. For free. Select this option at check out and we’ll contact you to figure out when and how to get your wine to you. This is the best option if you see something you like but aren’t in a desperate hurry to get it. If you have specific time requirements that you’re trying to meet (for example, a party this Friday) call or email first so we can let you know what’s possible.
In the Copake area
We’re still sorting out how to manage delivery up here. We don’t have regular delivery days or fees set up, but we’re happy to work with you to figure out solution if delivery is a must. And in-store pick up – that’s always an option!
Elsewhere in New York, we ship either using either UPS or Federal Express Ground. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker, and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you will have to be present at the time of delivery.Outside of New York, the customer contracts with the carrier (generally FedEx), who we will engage on behalf of the customer. In the case of shipments outside New York State, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. A World on the Weather
IF THE WEATHER IS PARTICULARLY HOT OR COLD AT OUR LOCATION, THE DESTINATION, OR IN BETWEEN, WE WILL NOT SHIP WINE unless you request it in writing. We will hold the wine for you at no charge until it is safe to ship.
New York State law permits us to accept the return of goods that are defective. For such returns we can offer a replacement of the same item, we can refund a credit card, or we can issue a store credit. The return of unopened goods, non-defective goods is only permitted if specifically pre-arranged at the time of purchase.
