Fanny Sabre Bourgogne Rouge 2015
Pinot Noir from the mothership of France's Burgundy region (Bourgogne - if you're feeling particularly French.) Over there, the grape shows more minerality and earthiness, more almost-ripe berry fruits rather than the full-on juicy/fruity you might find in California. We think this one from Fanny Sabre is a nice gateway to the region. It's a little more immediately generous then her higher end offerings, without losing the subtlety and complexity the region is known for.
